On Thursday, April 17, OLC attended “April’s NY Video Meetup” held at the AOL Headquarters at 770 Broadway, New York, NY. Five startups presented and the evening was made possible by AOL, Magnify.net, and Watchitoo. Below is a brief rundown of the startups showcasing.
Nastya Popova, Marketing Director, and Alisa Bloh, Editor in Chief, presented Coub – offers a 10sec video loop from webscraped footage on the web. They have amassed 50 million users in Russia and seek to go global.
Founder Devon Harris presented Adventr, an interactive video platform for individuals, companies or advertisers. In addition to easy social media sharing capabilities, the platform delivers real time analytics.
Elissa Shevinsky and Raine Dalton are the Co Founders of Glimpse, allowing users to share photos and video messages securely and efficiently.

CEO David Moffly and Manging Editor Matt Howard presented Baeble Music – a website that provides curated footage of concerts and music related interviews of relevant artists.
Co Founders Mark Rybarczyk and Brandon Hilkert head up Vuier, a modern day “online pay-per-view.” It allows an easy way for video creators to sell video streams direct to a supportive fanbase.
