On Tuesday, the 11th of February 2014, OLC attended “Disruptive Technology in Action.” Hosted by the Financial Women’s Association (FWA), the event was held at AlleyNYC’s offices located at 500 Seventh Avenue on the 17th Floor in New York City, featuring a panel of pioneering female entrepreneurs such as Alexa Von Tobel, CEO of LearnVest.com, Sonia Ahuja, EVP of BrightScope, and Josefina Jervis, CEO and Founder of OpenDoctors. The panel and Q&A was moderated and steered by Sharon Lewis, Executive Council of AARPNY, Co-Chair and FWA Membership Committee.
First to kick-off the panel discussion this evening was Alexa Von Tobel, CEO of LearnVest.com. Just back from a book tour, LearnVest offers makes financial services and advice “available to the masses” as a consumer product.
