On Monday November 10th, OLC attended the SF New Tech Vibease Hosted by Accenture Open Innovation at RocketSpace's location at 180 Sansome Street. The evening featured presentations by five startups including Sentri, The Orange Chef Co., Depict, Nomiku, and August. The theme for the event was welcoming new connective home technology that can be use in an everyday lifestyle.

The event opened with RocketSpace's Nicole Roccaforte introducing Philippe Bonneton from Accenture, who is their lead of strategy and corporate development. He discussed the concept of how Accenture Mobility offers five mobility services including consulting, software service, managed service, and business integration service. Accenture Mobility is a platform for these new startups to go to for assistance with new technology for the future.

The first presenter was Yen Tung from Sentri who shared their new innovative home security system. This product gives full control of your home security from your mobile device and provides peace of mind that your home is protected even when away.

The next presenter was the The Orange Chef Company's Taimoor Dar, who shared a prep padwhich offers a new way of introducing a healthier lifestyle. It scales your nutritional intake and helps you have a better understanding of what you might need more or less of in your meals.

Kimberly Gordon and Shambhavi Kadam presented Depict. It is a digital frame that creates new ways to enjoy all kinds of art from one frame. You can purchase and store new art which you can change whenever you please.

CEO Lisa Fetterman from Nomiku presented a new modern appliance for cooking. It is a form of cooking that is newly renovated and has wifi that can help you monitor your meal even when away from the kitchen or from your own mobile devices.

Lastly, August founder Chris Kim presented the new smart lock for homes. The August smart lock was designed to managed your home's lock by controlling access without the need of a key or codes.

This was a fantastic event to go and check out new technologies for everyday use.
