On Monday, November 3, 2014, OLC attended an insightful panel of Israeli Founders and located at Microsoft Bizspark Offices at 11 Times Square in New York, NY. The event panel was led by moderator and Founder of Israeli Startups in New York, Lior Vaknin, featuring former ERA startups and four panelists to provide feedback including Gil Dudkiewicz, Founder and CEO of Startapp, Assaf Henkin, Founder & COO at Kontera, Zvika Netter, CEO & Co-Founder at Innovid.

When grilled on tips for first time entrepreneurs, each panelist drew from personal experience to leave personal anecdotes of similar struggles on the entrepreneurial journey. Dudkiewicz urged for entrepreneurs to “Do what you believe in and (to) trust your gut. Don’t be afraid to go all the way,” he said. Netter retorted, “You don’t need any advice.” He explained because if you’re driven as an entrepreneur ought be, the truth is, ”You’re gonna do it anyway.” Henkin’s followup on the other hand was lighthearted, “Eat hummus and enjoy rejection.” Said simply, “Have fun with it,” Henkin said.
