September 30th, 2014 MIT Billion Dollar UX

On Tuesday, September 30, 2014, OLC attended MIT Enterprise Forum of New York City’s panel held at Chadbourne & Park LLP located at 31 West 52nd Street, New York, NY. Discussions revolved around the theme: “Billion-Dollar UX: How UX Has Become Key to Massive Product Valuations & Exits.” 

Design plays an increasing role in acquisition and retention of users across all mobile devices. Whether using a smart phone, a tablet, or laptop, compelling design in user experience is key. Panelists spoke about their backgrounds and experiences with user experience design with a focus on human-centered design for a diverse set of clients ranging from large brands, to corporations to development agencies.

Moderated by Beverly May, Executive Director of UX Awards, the panel consisted of speakers Tomer Sharon, Sr. UX Researcher at Google, Karen Kranack, Global Executive Director of User Experience at Estee Lauder Online, Scott McDonald, CEO of Modus Associates, Turi McKinley, Design Director at Frog Design.
